Who and what we are... MSSA - the Missouri Sport Shooting Association - is the Missouri CMP, USA Shooting and NRA State Affiliated Association, state governing body for the shooting sports and approver of all NRA-recognized state championship matches. MSSA is managed by an 18-member Board of Directors in accordance with the Associational By-Laws, and strengthened by the dedicated efforts of a host of discipline-specific Committee Chairpersons. The official printed publication of the MSSA is the quarterly The Missouri Shooter newsletter, and this website is the electronic equivalent. We have worked to make NRA Firearm Training courses available in Missouri for a lot of years, have worked for Friends of NRA efforts statewide, and we put together one of the most highly-regarded Olympic shooting camps in the nation.
