It is indeed a good day for Liberty. I hope that someone is counting, my mathematical skills are not up to the task. Three hundred and forty-four days ago we lost a battle in the fight for licensed concealed carry in Missouri. We lost because the governor's faction decided that they could lie faster than we could tell the truth. They were right. They could lie faster than we could tell the truth. Concealed carry is not the only thing that we do. The Clinton / Carnahan faction want to make criminals of people who have accidents. We want to prevent the accident. For ten years WMSA has taught safety. For eight years, the Clinton / Gore administration has refused to enforce criminal laws to jail criminals and keep society safe. When we point this out, Al Gore says it reveals a "sickness at the heart of the NRA". WE ARE THE HEART OF THE NRA. There are good politicians in this building; people like Senator Caskey, Representatives Susan Phillips and Luann Ridgeway. But, the only sickness is the politicians who talk about safety, while the heart of the NRA does something about it. March 15 2000 Jefferson City Missouri
